Data Warehouse Developer

We are looking for a Data Warehouse Developer who is passionate about their work, has a track record of on time delivery, and enjoys working on a fast paced team.

Responsibilities:

• Design Data Warehouse Solutions
• Perform logical and physical Data Modeling, Data Mart design, and ETL development Deploy enterprise, canned and ad-hoc reporting Understand business rules for source and target data objects and translate them into transformation sequences.
• Automate the ETL process through scheduling and exception-handling modules.
• Provide metrics to measure progress and accuracy of data transfers.
• Deploy data cleansing requirements with extensibility and on-demand execution characteristics Assist with development of test plans, setup of test data, and execution of functional, regression, and load tests for Data Warehouse and ETL Components.
• Assist with design and implementation of Data Staging Areas, Data Warehouse, Data Marts, Dimensions, and other Data Stores.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on Database Administration experience with large DB’s, specifically clustering, partitioning, data retention and archival 2+ years of hands-on experience with ETL design, development, and support.
• 2+ years of experience creating and implementing ETL strategies for enterprise size data warehouse.
• 2+ years of experience in relational and dimensional data modeling, large database design experience, loading and processing of large data sets, and data quality best practices.
• 2+ years of experience and/or knowledge of OLAP, ROLAP, and MOLAP.
• 2+ years of experience in performance tuning, data analysis, and visualization.
• 2+ years of experience in Performance Management using Balanced Scorecard Methodology Knowledge of Data Warehouse/Mining and Data Mart physical RDBMS schemata Experience with running queries to test business rules and analyzing data looking for anomalies.
• Ability to profile and validate data requirements for suitability in the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
